I was watching a youtube video the other day on the Maytag A382. To me, it's an updated version of the A106 in large capacity. My question is, is there a Standard capacity version of this model, and did Maytag ever make a large capacity version of the A106 center dial of that time period?

That's a pretty accurate assessment. It's a 300 series machine (There was no 306 model) 308/310/312.

A standard capacity version would just be a 100 series machine (106/107/108/110/111/112).

Thanks

I was following that same logic, thinking that the standard compacity model would have been A182, but no avail. I know they updated again making the Large capacity A412 with the standard compacity model being A112. but can't find anything on the 300 series.

The other replies here are essentially what I'm saying as well. The post-center dial version of the 106 was the 112, and the 312 in its own turn was the large capacity version of that. Then the 212, 412, and 512 were the Fabric-Matics of the 12-series.

To answer your second question,

Technically, they didn't really make a large capacity version of the A106 during the center dial period (1966-80). All of the large capacity single-speeds were Fabric-Matics (308 and 406/7/8).
