Question for the Speed Queen experts

Is it normal for the tub to lean during agitation? Are those 2 plastic nubs at the top back supposed to be showing / normal? I noticed that on higher water levels especially with larger loads the tub in my new Speed Queen leans forward and to the right, sometimes significantly. However, during spin or at the end of the cycle the tub is completely center. The machine is level, however is the tub supposed to lean during agitation? Are those 2 plastic nubs showing normal? Where to and by how much does your Speed Queen lean?

Mine does the same thing. Just make sure it is completely level front to back side to side.

its the torque of the motor during agitation pulling it towards the front....nothing wrong....just powerful

I used a foam cushion under the pump to help keep it centered

My experience with the AWN432 is the same. I thought perhaps the machine was slightly out of level, but the motor torque seems more likely. Runs smooth and quietly!

SQ Tub

In those vids the water level control must have been adjusted, or someone held the water level button on "reset" for a while to get it to fill all the way up. Anyway, on mine the tub seems pulls forward on the heavier loads, like washing a full load of thick sturdy jeans. In short, loads in which the machine has to work harder to agitate. Towels and soft blankets, (with the right water level), aren't as difficult to agitate.

Yep, the amount of lean is going to depend on weight (load size + water level).

Don't recall what page it is, I think it's in or around the troubleshooting chart (for users who mistakenly think it's a problem

Are the following wash and spin combinations correct?

for NON Fabric selector machines (i.e. 412 and 432 -

Regular = fast agitation + fast spin

permanent press = fast agitation + slow spin

Delicate/Hand Wash = slow agitation + slow spin

Soak = intermittent slow agitation then soak + fast spin

I can't find the combinations anywhere.

Almost, at least for my model

My model goes like this:

Regular: fast on wash, fast on rinse and fast on all spins.

Permanent press: Fast wash, slow first spin, fast rinse, fast final spin

Delicate: Slow plus soak wash (4, 30 second slow agitations, rest of the time in soak), slow first spin, slow 3 minute rinse, slow final spin.

Soak: Slow wash, Soak, slow final spin.

I have the tech sheet posted somewhere in another thread that shows the exact timing and combinations.

Cycle speed and timing

Here is the tech sheet for those curious. All increments are 2 minutes. "Motor High" and "Motor Low" segments that are shaded black under each increment tell you what speed is being used in that part of the cycle. Everything's accurate with one acception. The diagram shows the spin spray to be in the second half of the first spin cycle (so about 3 minutes in) but in reality it begins to spray a little over a minute into the spin (just as the pump starts pulling in air on a full tub with clothes). The spin is still 4 minutes long (technically 3 minutes 40 seconds counting the motor pauses), just the spray starts earlier than depicted.
