"Hello" Appliance Friends, it's been quite a long time, since I've been able to go On-Line. I've been without any Computer/Internet Service for 3-months, until last Saturday, December 12th.

Anyway, I also wanted to let everyone know that my Beautiful, Wonderful Calico/Tortise Shell Color Cat went to "Kitty Heaven" and is meeting and playing with her Friends and Cousins that she actually never knew about. Her name was Speedee and she was 14-1/2 years old and a very good "Bear" as I called her, instead of a Cat. I tried to include a Pix of her, but my Pix's seem to not be available to be able to open and Post any more.

It sure feels so different around my house now, without Speedee being here with me any more. I keep thinking that I'm going to see her taking her Nap or Sleeping in her typical places, or even getting on the Bed in the Morning and laying next to me, sleeping some more with me.

I've got some Pix's when I get a new Print/Scanner/Copier and will try to Post hopefully real soon.

I want to ask everyone who would like to contact me, to please E-Mail me on my old E-Mail Address and I will write back to you on my new E-Mail Address.

I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

Peace, Blessings, Prayers and Hugs, Steve

So sorry for your loss....I just went thru the same thing last week, and your heart just aches, even though I have other dogs, the house seems empty without her presence....

allow yourself time and a good cry, and know you gave her the best life as she returned all the love she had to you

take care...HUGS....Martin

Hi Steve, We are very sorry to hear about Speedy. Our pets are so much family to us. I sure miss ours over the years. I am glad you have your computer working again. We hope to hear from you soon...Dan and JoEllen

Very sorry to hear

about Speedee, Steve.

Dear Boris left in June of this year.

Remember the love, and when the time is right, perhaps a wonderful different bear cat will come along. Rosa did, and I am having a wonderful time with her.

Re: Info about my Cat Walking over the Rainbow Bridge:

Thank you my Dear "AW" Friends, for you sentiments. It is certainly a difficult time not only for me without Speedee, but at this time of year, right after Thanksgiving and before Christmas and New Years.

Anyway, I've found out that I was able to only change my E-Mail Address on my Profile, so please everyone who would like to contact me personally, please do so whenever you would like to contact me.

Marty and Lawrence, I'm sorry for your losses as well.

Peace, Blessings and Hugs, Steve

Sorry to hear of your loss. Our animals become our kids, and I know how hard it is to lose one. Keep the happy memories in your heart, and you will never be without them. Peace. David

I have this picture staring at me from my desktop!

My family lost Sally just over three weeks ago.

She was 18+ years old and a major part of our family life.

She was diabetic and had been for five or so years, which was kept on top of with daily insulin injections. She must have known that they were doing good for her cause she would just sit there and take the insulin - no fuss at all.

She was taken ill on the Tuesday.
My mum rang to let me know that she had been taken to the vets, on the Wednesday evening. she told me that she thought things were drawing to a close.
I rushed home Thursday evening, fully knowing that the liklihood was that we would have to make a 'decision' on Friday evening.
My sister went to stay with her on Thursday at the vets and in her words Sally was 'lethargic and pissed off!'.
I was going to see her the Friday morning at 10am, but I received a call about 9.30, from my sister, to say that the vets had been in touch and that she had passed away that night.

Me and my sister went to see her at 10am as arranged to say goodbye and we went again, with my parents and sisters boyfriend, that evening to say final farewells and to make arrangements.

Early the following week she was cremated and the next weekend we had a small burial service in the back garden, which my other half Rob (Aquarius1984) was able to attend too.

She was a wonderful cat and there is a major hole in the house now, that my family are trying to deal with. Also her brother Tibbs has become a lot more vocal - we think that it has sunk in now that she isnt around anymore. Just got to keep him going now, as he has his own frailties to contend with.

Our family will be forever grateful that she made the decision to go herself, thus saving us all the crushing pain of having to decide ourselves. Thankyou Sally.

As I say, I have the picture below as my desktop. Was weird to begin with, as she is staring at me whenever I return to desktop. But it really is comforting and has helped me deal with her passing, as she is still there (sort of) and the picture always makes me smile.
Missing you loads Sally.

My thoughts go out to you Steve and all those people contending with the loss of a loved pet.

Re: Info about my Cat Walking over the Rainbow Bridge:

Thank you all again for your kind words and sentiments. I'm sorry to hear Gary, about your loss of Shadow, on Wednesday. You certainly have my Condolences as do everyone else who have lost their 4-Legged Family members.

I've seen some info in the past on some of the other Posting Threads about the Rainbow Bridge and I would like to share the info here again.

The Web Address is: www.rainbowbridge.com in case anyone would like to check it out further. It is a very nice Site and they also have a Rememberence space, where you can enter info about your Pet. They do ask for $25.00 per year to have the Memorial and they do use some of the Money to help Animals out otherwise of needs.

Rainbows Bridge is a home for your departed baby. Whether furry, feathered or scaled, all are welcome. Create a Rainbow Residency which you care for as the Guardian of your baby's memory.

Meet others who are grieving the loss of a loved one and begin the journey to healing a broken heart. You are not alone, we are here for you.

Enter your beloved Fur Baby as a Rainbow Resident... until the day comes when you meet once again and cross over the Rainbow Bridge together.

I know that it this is a real difficult time of year for a lot of us, but I do want to send my Holiday Greetings and hope that everyone will have as best of good times, during these upcoming Holidays.

Peace, Blessings, Prayers and Hugs, Steve

Thanks Steve,

It was a very difficult day for me yesterday. I went home from work a little early so I could spend some time with Shadow before the appointment at the vets. Thankfully I have a very nice & caring vet that doesn't mind seeing a 50 yr old man balling his eyes out as the euthanasia took place. This was the 3rd pet I have lost in the past 18 months.

Re: Gary, "countryguy"

Hey! Gary, I wanted to let you know that I've sent you an E-Mail, OK?

Know that I'm and so many others are here for you, as everyone has been here for me as well, in our time of sorrow.

Take care until later, hang in there.

Peace and Kind Regards, Steve "SactoTeddyBear"
