I don't understand why the latest British advert for Lenor has American couples being asked about the freshness of lenor on bed linen.

is it because British people have an obsession with American culture? Or they can't find good enough british actors?

Is Downy changing its name to Lenor?

I assumed it was just the uk, do they have German dubbed over for the one in Germany?

It's just because it's the Downy "fresh sheet week" advert re-edited for Lenor. Saves them making new ones for Europe.

Commercials are often made for several countries, some even for several continents. Heineken makes some of it's commercials in the USA while it is a Dutch beer. It's way more efficient to do it this way than to make commercials for every country invidually.

It'll be similar to the Vileda Super Mop advert, which is obviously a dubbed foreign advert.
