Whirlpool Polara</a> refrigerated range.

I've mentioned in several past threads that there's a (presumably) new Polara on the display floor on a local appliance store, been there for a long time.  Still for sale far as I know (has a price tag), unless the store owner is keeping it as a curiosity.

There is (was, apparently is discontinued) a niche-brand wall oven, TMIO, that offers a version (double or single) with refrigeration ... and they have remote Internet control.

I don't even drink bubbly water out of a bottle so why dispense it from a frige?

This is something I will never be interested in.

Actually I would rather have it dispense Gerolsteiner water. It actually has a good taste---- Love that stuff but I will continue to buy it by the bottle.

Here's a video of it.. URL Below. IMO, Great idea.

This is a little gimmicky, but still, a really neat idea.

There are people who say that using a ice water salt slurry will get cans cold fast, but this is more of a convenience thing really. No fuss, no muss.

I could just put some ice into a glass, but this is considerably more handy.

Kind of like using a built-in icemaker as opposed to just using ice trays. No water to spill.

@estesguy

It was LG that came out with the flatscreen in a SxS. We ordered one for our floor @Home Depot. Everyone was fascinated by it, but we only sold one of them. When it went on clearance it sat and sat and sat. Finally a kiddie daycare center bought it, to keep the little darlings entertained during lunchtime with a DVD. This was before the change-over from analog TV. How weird to see a fridge with a rabbit ears on top! The TV was also programmed with recipes, a table of equivalents, and other stuff. It also had a weather function.

I didn't see this thread earlier. I bought a Soda Stream over the weekend. I really like it. The Diet Cola is close enough to Diet Coke to work. The Diet Pink Grapefruit is really good. I have the "Energy" this morning. Taste way better than other's I've had, no jitters. So, I'm happy with it.

Eugene:

If you can afford to shop at Hy-Vee, $3995 for a fridge should be a breeze.

I have never seen such breathtaking grocery prices in my life! Higher than Publix in Atlanta, which would hardly seem possible.
