know the guys who are sole distributor in the UK, these are great dryers, have used one in a college, ideal where no outside wall is available, has an excellent closed loop drying system using heat Pump technology with a water pipe drain off for the condensate.....from what I hear they dont suffer from leaking steam syndrome.....pricy but you get what you pay for!!!

Are these models available in the States or is this ebay item a one off??

My guess is that they're sold over there as well as the machine is clearly for the American market, otherwise it would have been 3 phase 400 V as it's used for industrial equipment in Europe and not 240V 3 phase as in the USA!

HEAT-PUMP COMMERCIAL DRYERS

The idea of a heat-pump dryer is actually one that my brother Jeff and I first thought of more that 15 years ago [ at least we had never heard of the idea, I am sure that some one else probably thought of it before we did ] too bad we didn't think to get a patent for it. I am in the process of finely building the first American full sized heat-pump dryer, I will post pictures when it is up and running.

 

The listing for the commercial model has the voltage wrong as there is no 240v three phase power here, they probably meant 208V three phase power, either that it could be 240V single phase.

Hi John, yes if only we could get those patents backdated !! do you know what best ambient room temperature and humidity these would have to operate in, could you see some climates where they would not be suitable??

Hi Mike since the dryer is basically a closed air system I would imagine that surrounding room temperature and humidity would have no effect on performance.
