I got in thirteen different machines today:
One Whirlpool WTW4816FW2 - Manufactured on 33rd week 2019. Bad bearings - roaring spin cycle. I’ve been getting a lot of roaring VMWs lately. Not fixing. Seems to have other good parts, just roaring.
One Whirlpool WTW4855HW1 washer - bad bearings and roaring when spinning, not fixing. Will need a Gearcase. This was made on 45th week of 2019. It ran fine in the test but it was roaring very loud.
One Maytag MVWC465HW2 washer - bad bearings - roaring on spin cycle. Not fixing. Manufactured on 1st week of 2019. Once I put it on spin it was really loud like a jet engine.
One Whirlpool WTW5000DW1 washer - made on 36th week 2017. Roaring bearings - noisy spin cycle. Ran it on spin and it was noisy.
Amana NTW4650YQ0 washer - 15th week of 2013. Suspension rods.
Whirlpool WTW4815EW1 washer - made on 24th week of 2016. Bad suspension rods.
Whirlpool WTW4815EW0 washer - made on 15th week of 2015. Bad suspension rods.
GE GTW465ASN0WW washer - roaring bearing, loud spin cycle.
2018 Samsung WA45N3050AW/A4 washer - bad suspension rods.
Amana NTW4516FW3 washer - bad suspension rods and broken tub. Made on 41st week of 2019. The tub is broken on this and there isn’t a bushing for those units, so I will part this one out.
GE GTW335ASN0WW - bad pump - not draining.
Whirlpool WTW4800BQ1 - bad suspension rods. Made on 30th week of 2014.
Whirlpool WTW4800BQ0 - bad suspension rods. Made on 9th week of 2014.

Got a mix of different brands, some of them will be fixed while others will need to go into the junkyard. I change suspension rods all the time on these VMW machines. Got in a lot of washing machines on Monday. I also got in a fridge even.

so ...not only do these appliances have failures with bearings and suspension rods - but the main control circuit board has been revised twice!

How do you have time to even repair all these?
And what’s the point reporting every single one?

I can act like this too.
Here’s everything I did at work today:

Started working on Engineering Change Request 12345.
- reviewed all tasks and marked some n/a.
- delegated drawing creation by CAD eng.
- uploaded finished dwgs.

Created new ECR to fix related dwg titles due to new names from Product mgmt.

Verified part numbers and dwg titles in JDE ERP.

Meet/greet with new mfg intern. Chit chat about going to same college.

Meet commodities manager on my adhesives project. Discuss two suppliers and how far along their timelines are.

Various Teams discussions about random ECRs.

Email various task owners to do their ECR tasks that are behind.
