You may recall I e-mailed P&G via Tide.com to inquire if Tide Simply Clean & Fresh would be available in pod form. This is the somewhat bewildering reply I received today:
Thanks for contacting Gain, Eugene.
I’m sorry your Gain Fling didn’t dissolve. We appreciate your bringing this to our attention, and I’m sharing your report with the rest of our Gain Team. If you haven’t done so already, I hope you’ll try the product again with the following tips for best results:
Always add Gain Flings to the drum of the washing machine BEFORE loading the clothes.
Front loader machines - place the Flings at the back of the washer drum FIRST; then add garments.
Top loader machines - place the Flings in the washer drum FIRST; then add garments.
Never place the Flings in the dosing drawer or dispenser drawer
Do not use a "delicate" cycle for heavy loads.
Do not use a quick cycle of less than 30 minutes.
Switch to a warm water setting during the winter months or whenever water is exceptionally cold.
Do not overload your washer. Overloading may cause the Flings to get trapped inside fabric folds.
Be sure to store the product in a cool, dry area, and close the package after each use.
To dissolve the dried Flings:
First, DO NOT PULL ON GARMENT, if pulled the garment may tear.
Second, SOAK the garment in hot water (the longer the better- 1 hour) to help the film dissolve.
I hope this is helpful. Since your satisfaction means a great deal to us, I would like to send out a $15 Visa debit card as soon as you reply with your name and address. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery.
Thanks again for writing.
