Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Wow! What finds!

Geez, this'll teach me to go out looking jobs instead of watching the board... I just checked this out and all I can say is WOWWEE!! Kevin, you did the right thing! The Bendix washer and dryer, even though not necessarily a matched set are rare enough, but that unused LadyK 230V dishwasher is just awesome!! Congratulations on a major rescue operation here!! I can't wait to see more about them all - have fun and make us all proud!! Congratulations!!!

"Robert... Jon (Jetcone) is black mailing me..."

I see that Kevin, hmmmph don't worry she's going to get a big slap when I see her!

That Bendix "almost perfect" pair are a.k.a. "Margaret Anderson Specials," as used by Jane Wyatt's character on TV's "Father Knows Best."

This tripped me out when I read it. Margaret Anderson is my Mother's name! LOL. She got a kick out of that too!

LOL!!

No sisters, well, biologically anyway, and none are named Kathy or Betty. I do have one brother whose name is Ben. Which is kind of close to Bud! LOL

The view the clothes see....

Robert had asked about the tub/door/boot/seal. Actually it's intact! When I rubbed my hand around it the upper area felt a little "grainy" but the lower part felt pretty good.

So here is a pic of the tub boot from the inside. As you can see, some cracking. I don;t know how it would hold up with use tho....

I'm ready for my close up, Mr Deville!

As you can see... views from the left side and the right.

Any idea if there are options for replacing those little shock absorbers? The tub moves around like they are not even there...

On the right you can see the all important "Magic Heater" wires.

And now the view from the front

I actually got REALLY daring! I plugged it in and turned the timer dial! The water valve buzzed and turning it further, the solenoids for the speed changer and the drain valve buzzed. Unfortunately the motor just buzzed also. But that is probably a good thing as it's not ready to run yet!
