Neat! I have never seen a turquoise Speed-Queen appliance before! Would this be a mid-60s model?

I would have to agree that a row of SQ turquoise color machines  in a  coin op was  striking.  Something about blue and clean that go together. Plus I just  like the color.  Much better than the earth tone colors on steroids produced in the mid to late 70's they had  an orange color. Darn near highway construction worker  orange.

the Monday's Maid laundromat in my hometown had the Speed Queen coin ops with the banging solenoids.....the rows alternated in color......one being white..one being green....one in yellow....think they had the orange ones and an oddball turquoise mixed in as well.....as well as the Speed Queen big boys and Speed Queen dryers......it was pretty damned cool to go in there and be doing wash and hearing all the solenoids banging as the machines went through their motions
