The latest thing from the oven of the Norge! LOL I couldnt believe the store had rhubarb this time of year, but it was beautiful all red, made a pretty pie.
That looks so good, Hans! I have rhubarb in the freezer and may have to make a cobbler or cake. I'm surprised you were able to find it fresh in the produce section so early in the year.

My grandfather had 6 rhubarb plants in his 1/4 acre garden and I remember pulling off a stalk of it and eating it right from the ground - better than sour candy!

At one of the Amish restaurants in Sarasota, FL, years ago, I had wonderful strawberry-rhubard crumb top pie. It was about 3 inches high and would have been top heavy and tippy were it not so wide. Just three words to describe it: Fab-U-Lous.
