The light-up Whirlpool sure is neat. I didn't know they had a light-up escutcheon!
I just rebuilt the table model (tombstone) version of that Silvertone console radio. It's from 1936. The tone control is actually a mechanical variable-bandwith controll. It's a very good performer.
That magnavox console is a bit newer than '65.
