Anyway enjoy the clip.

Thanks Fredrik!

For posting this. I have been thinking of getting one for my grandson (10 y/o)for Christmas after seeing Jasonl's earlier post about the Roboraptor. Now I know he will get this!

But the parents are going to have to buy the batteries...LOL!

BTW...how long DO the batteries last on one of these behemoths?

About the batteries...

The control uses 3 AAA batteries while the Raptor itself have to be 6 LR6 batteries. Theres alot of talk about if you should have rechargable or regular. The company that sell the raptor says you should not use Rechargable.

However on a quick scan of some forum that talk about the raptors you find out reschargable might be the best. BUT it it gets stuck in a carpet it could ruin the motor because its more power in these batteries.

How much batteries it eats depends of how long you use the raptor, how often, what you set it to do.ETC. I have changed the batteries one time, but thats because a friend didnt powered it off after playing with it. I the batteries can last one week or so if you play with it some hours and have it on a regular floor.

The raptor walks poor on carpets but on regular floor it walks good. Notice also that its not easy getting it out of the box.

I think your grandson will be very happy to get a roboraptor. Even we adults like it and play with it
