hello to all as some aw members ever watch the Rosanne tv series the original series and started to watch the reboot well in the second episode of the reboot you get to see the washer dryer they look like ge or hotpoint the non filter flo makes me wonder what happen to the harvest gold washer dryer they use in the series from memory I know they have used center dial harvest gold maytags and then in more advance seasons seem to be some fridgaire possably a 1 18 for the washer and now seem like a ge or hotpoint?

Thank you.  I was craning my eyes and neck to get a good enough shot.  They are GE/Hotpoint family members.  I kind of thought so when I saw the dryer door open.

They shouldnt have ever got rid of the Maytags. Fridge is now newer black, not the old Poppy one. Couldnt see the whole stove when Becky took supper out. Never saw a dishwasher, but I dont know how they saved the living room and that same afghan. Loved the stair lift.

They’re both GE’s. Probably around 2005 to 2010 models.

Tim, from what I read from articles just before the show debuted, there was a nationwide search at thrift stores and such to find everything in order for them to duplicate the former living room.  The stove was a white slide-in, but I couldn't see if it had coils or a flat surface.

Fridge in Roseanne reboot

Yes, the kitchen fridge is a newer black finish model, but IINM, from one of the first week episodes, the original poppy fridge is now in the garage. Dan got a beer out of it.

rosanne reboot

in the Rosanne reboot I am a bit surprise other then the poppy fridge in the garage and the famous couch that they did not keep the appliances from season 9 and do you think if the Rosanne reboot continues that eventualy the washer dryer will be front load sets?

I am pleased to see that they are mirroring real life and acknowledging that there are some instances where appliances die and/or get too impractical to fix...at which time, some households prefer to replace them with something new. Dan and Rosie seem to be the type who place no sentimental value on appliances.
