RR 3 or 4 spotted at mechanic

I left my car at the shop this evening for a tune-up and state safety inspection. The owner of the shop was there finishing up some jobs, so we chatted for a while about cars and such. We made our way towards the office so we could do the paperwork for my new arrival. I had never noticed it before, but when I glanced over in the break room, there it was! a very old RR from what looked to be an early seventies model. It has the multi-colored dials on it, with the switches in the center!

I told him that I'm an appliance collector, and if at any time they decided to get a new microwave to send that one my way!!! He grinned and said that that one was a thrift-store find that actually replaced a much newer one that everyone kept complaining about scorching their food!

RR3 or RR4

That is a fantastic story! It is really nice to see people not only using Radarange's still, but enjoying them as well. I know this is a pitty detail, but was the light button white or blue?

My favorite spotting of an RR is in Men In Black. At the very beginning, when Tommy Lee Jones grabs a coffee, there is an early RR in the break room. Too Cool!
