....dishwasher tablets at £1.77 for 30. Anyone tried these or know anything about them? Just getting to the end of a box of Waitrose 5in1 tablets which have proven to be average at most and object to paying Finish prices!!!

Lidl/Aldi or Tesco

Which tested tablets a little while ago and found that the

- Lidl 'W5' tablets...the cheaper ones scored 82%

- Tescos 'value' 84%

I use the Aldi tablets here and they are fantastic.

As a measure, Which? tested finish etc....the highest score was 84% regardless of cost. Even with the added cost of rinse aid and salt, you will get better results or it will be cheaper or both by using one of those 3 brands.

Which tested them in their last round and they were recommended

Tesco Value....

Having used the Tesco value tablets recently, I found them to be excellent. Did not etch glasses, cleaned baked on pans and dissolved really well.
I found them to be an improvement over the Tesco 5in1 tabs.
The Sainsburys Basics tablets, may well be made by the same company so it's always worth a go, especially for the price.

Never used Lidl or Aldi dishwasher tablets personally, but know people that have and I've heard no complaints over those either.

A loyal Tesco value tablets user here! Have used them for over a year with no complaints.

No overfoaming, no scent, no problems.

Will never ever pay Finish prices again for a less good wash which is far too sudsy.
