Yes...The Samsungtags... Still can't believe that washer lasted us 9 years and the dryer is still going.
I'm actually tempted to give another front loader a try again since I've finally cooled off from my excessively long relationship with that thing.

Part of me wants to buy one of these Samsungs and wash nothing but huge loads of waterproof items using the maximum spin speed. It's rather embarrassing that no one in this washerhead community has a first-person catastrophic disassembly event story.

As reported by the CBC... I saw a comment on Slashdot, "Samsung advises that washing Note 7 phones with their washing machines is not recommended."
I think this is the same issue we've been hearing about with Spinsploding LG's. They lack any kind of G sensors on the outer tub. They ramp up at high speed, the load shifts and they spinsplode.
Most of the video's I've seen of spinsploded LG's seem to show that the user used a "Regular/Normal" cycle with bedding.
Honestly, I'm surprised that this only seems to be an issue with LG/Samsung machines.
Come to think of it, when GM made Frigidaire washing machines, they'd ramp up to the same RPM, roughly what, 1100 RPM? Why didn't they have problems with spinsploding?

a lithium battery with water is the worst you can do, especially on an airliner.
Use a fire extinguisher, baking soda, or flour.
Sixty percent, at least of them have been returned.
As for modern top load washers, sadly this is old news.

Not again-Hasn't LG and Samsung FIXED these spinsploding washer issues?And give users better warnings about washing bulky waterproof items on the proper cycles?Of course owners don't read their instruction books-they just use the machine anyway-Post the warnings on the MACHINE-maybe the user will get it!
