Interesting configuration of GE Kitchen Center... This looks like the 9 1/2 foot model with an additional oven cabinet. I've seen a simliar version in a kitchen planning book but it only had a surface unit with no oven under the kitchen center counter.
Too bad the original yellow dishwasher is gone, too...

I like the yellow, and the P~I~N~K.
But, I would be afraid to turn the garbage disposal on for fear of getting water in the switch, and then, ZZZZZ-ZZZ, the whole friggin thing- counters, cabinets, sink, appliances- would be live.
Don't get me wrong, I like metal cabinets, but with a laminate counter.
That oven cabinet would be AWESOME !. Yank that oven out and and use it for a raised Dishwasher cabinet.
Its ashame they painted over the pink .
Donate the counter top to an axe murderer/friend who can use it for easily slicing, cooking and grinding up his victims on an easy to hose down surface unit.

The entire unit would be grounded through the electrical connections. As long as it is properly installed, it would not present a shock hazard.
The new dishwasher sticks out like a sore thumb!-but like the "Caterpillar" yellow!Expect to see a giant "CAT" logo somewhere on this!They should try to get a yellow front panel for the dishwasher.Or---go on a quest to find an older dishwasher to match this set.VERY NICE!!
