so, not many of you know that i have a Miele PW6065

it's the most basic model of it's range, made in 2016, around 3-4 years before their production run ended as a whole

mine came to me as a beater, it was hauled out of a military ship and then sold on to a couple who couldn't use it, as it hadn't been rewired to run on 240V single phase at 50hz

so, i ended up with the machine, i managed to wire it up to the voltage i could run it on, and it did work for quite some time

a few issues here and there, but nothing major

until, 4 days ago

i had just ran the Hotpoint next to it on a boilwash to clean it out after being sat for a good month or so, the PW6065 was due one too

i pressed the power button, nothing happened on the screen

i thought it was odd, so i checked the circuit the machine was running on, and the wiring. nothing, all fine

i then proceeded to spend the next 7 hours attempting to troubleshoot the issue, trying a new display PCB, wiring to the machine, checking capacitors, fuses, everything

but nothing has worked, it's a sad thing to see, though it won't be the end

updates to come

Matthew
