Thanks Charles!!!!!!

I took advantage of the sale and it was almost like buying 1 and getting the 2nd one free.

2 boxes @ $11.99=23.98, 5.5% sales tax=1.32, Total=$25.30.

A very nice deal.  The regular price per box is $23.99.

Thanks again.

It is still on sale.  Like others like to try different brands Tide to the Mexican ones but old reliable is Sears Ultra in the Orange box. We have one almost empty and another 2 in wait.  Have used the Sears detergent since 1974 for us.  The smell and the texture the scoop has not changed all these years. We miss the big plastic buckets.

If I were to pass away....

And my family came in, they would see a laptop in my lap and a big box of laundry sitting next to me on the sofa and say 'What the heck?"

Anyway, the box says Advanced Formula Ultra Plus Laundry detergent. Free of Dyes and Perfumes 125 washes Approved for all washers...high efficiency (which is what I have and sort of why I bought it, but then was pleasantly surprised at how well it cleans with just a little scoop of the detergent...) and traditional top loaders.

oh okay thanks you know, that would have had sense since the Green didn't have any smell either........

And it really really works.....

We have had so much rain here where I live and I have done a ton of yard work. I come in from the yard nasty smelly dirty and my clothes are filthy with ground in dirt. I do select the heavy duty cycle and extra rinse when washing my yard clothes, but the Sears detergent so far has gotten the grass stains, etc out. And I am talking about a white t-shirt. Not a trace. I have never used a detergent before that did such a good job. I am not the type to go around bragging about household products. The first time I bought it I paid full price and I had to ask myself had I lost my mind. The second box I got on sale so that was better.

I bought a box last year when it was on sale and I'm happy with it.  I still have half of the 180 use box left.  I usually use about half a scoop in my FL machine.  If I'm doing whites I might add a scoop of oxygen bleach to the half scoop of detergent but everything comes out spotless.

A kind friend......

drove me to the nearest Sears this morning, and I now have two boxes. When I explained the quality and price, she was astonished. If her husband wasn't allergic to most detergents, I think she would have bought some, as well.

Thanks for the heads up!  I love Sears Ultra Plus.  My favorite is the orange box.  Andy, does the blue box contain Oxi-Clean oxygen bleach?  I'm thinking it does... but I could be mistaken.   I've tried the Ultra Plus detergent with the Oxi-Clean oxygen bleach and was very pleased with it's performance also.   I just checked out the Ultra-Plus site and verified the Oxi-Clean comes in a dark blue box and the unscented comes in a light blue box.  I noticed they still have the Ultra-Plus with fabric softener.  I've used it with success but didn't think it got the clothes as clean as the orange box.  Jim
