Got it down there without any problems at all. Had to put the juke on it's side, mounted to an appliance cart, as the juke is 36" wide, same width as the stairway. Used rope wrapped around the lower area of the cart and juke to be sure that the bottom of the cart would not slip off the wheels at the bottom of the juke.
Took about 1/2 hour for the juke to get warm enough to play. Adjusted the gain, and the rest of the amp controls to get the best sound out of it as possible until the amp can be rebuilt. It sounds very good, considering that the amp is original.
Spent a few hours cleaing it up this afternoon. Now I can wash a load of "car towels" lol! Anyway, will be spending time cleaning and lubing first. Cabinet repair will be next. Both lower side panels need to be replaced, and can be purchased though Victory Glass. A couple pieces of trim need to be refinished, but the chrome and stainless grill pieces are flawless. I will also redo the colour for the lighting on the grillwork. This model does not have enough colour "bling" to suit me, and I can fix that very easily. The modification will not harm the original lighting design, just adds to it.
Do not have any pixs to share at this point, so stole a pixs of the same model off the net. You can see how lame the grill lighting is here.
Btw: Gave the boyz a case of beer for putting the juke downstairs for me,they are happy.
