80 years of producing appliances for the UK market has come to an end.

A sad demise of another Great British company, it happened in the 90`s actually following the "partnership", was never the same since,

Servis UK where the only independant UK Laundry Manufacturer, solely building Washers, Spinners & Tumble dryers, all other manufacturers had links with overseas companies!!!

From the humble model A Wringer Washers, to the Servis Supertwin Twintubs, RinSpin Spin dryer & the world First Servis Selectronic & Quartz Washing machines.....from a small site in Darleston, West Midlands, Servis UK design & manufacturing team where truly the "Rolls Royce" of UK Laundry Appliances....

So...finally no longer...A Toast...to Walter Wilkins & Tom Mitchell...the founding partners of Servis UK....

Hey Mikey, how old is the TT in the photo? Isn't it goofy to think some hard working housewife is 'gonna do laundry in high-heels. Hooooney puhleeeez!

This is a tragedy - just one of many manufactureres destined for the scrap heap with the current economic climate. What a shame. Would love one of those twinnies and BTW, are the heels compulsary??

My last washer and dryer were both Servis.

And I ALWAYS wore heels, it recommended them in the manual.
