An Imperial Mark XII washer with an Imperial 90 dryer.  The console aesthetics are different so they're different years.

A matching Imperial Mark XII dryer probably would have electronic dry control instead of thermostatic, and possibly choice of three tumble speeds.

Thanks for the pictures Glenn. The washer is an 18 pound machine while the dryer is standard capacity. Someone spent a small fortune replacing all of those parts on the dryer in 1996. Hope someone can save these that will appreciate them.

My sister had that set..

 

<span style="font-family: helvetica;">I don't know how old they were when she got rid of them but she wanted an undercounter set at the time and went with a Bosch Axxis+ set.  I know she was happy with the Whirlpool set.  I thought I was nuts thinking her set had a bunch of buttons and some kind of knob in the middle.  I guess not.  Hers were white.</span>

Was there some sort of contractual agreement between Whirlpool and Sears that prevented Whirlpools from offering an automatic Detergent dispenser on their TOL models as did Sears?
