Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Wow!

Almost everything you guys bought, I would have bought myself.

The two exceptions are the egg cooker (detest eggs, always have), and the plastic(?) multi-colour pendant.

The Pyrex Chip and Dip....so lovely in the contrasting greens.

I keep my eyes open whenever we go to an estate sale for one of those HOMART suds tubs. Someday one will come my way. The one we have in our laundry room at present does look a bit rough, but is fully functional, and used weekly.

So you passed the Gadet, the Toggle, the Ray and the Davey

Well, kinda passed by. When we go to Stratford like this time, we take 84W to 91S to 95S. Then, when we leave there, we take 95S to 287W(S) to 78W. We avoid 95S after CT like the plague as we've gotten stuck in traffic every time we've gone that way, no matter what time of day! And if we don't go to Stratford, we take 84W to 684W to 287 and avoid 95 all together! It's the fastest way we've found.

Toggs, when we came across the T'Zee Monday night, we did wave in your general direction!

We ran into this not 2 minutes after walking into the Renninger's flea market Sunday morning. The Seeburg 1000 Background Music System! Now we need to locate a manual and cord (rickr- know any sources??). Just had a look on eBay and the records go for $$. Hopefully we'll find some "in the wild" for cheap money!

It may be a while before we get it working, but it'll be a project to take care of eventually! Rich hasn't done his magic to the finish yet- it's as we got it.

Those take 16 rpm records only, and they were for department stores, ect.

Try Harold Hagen of "Always Jukin" as an information and parts source. That is who I always use.

Hope you get it going. Love the chrome and turqoise on the unit.

Sorry, I was three things at once when I posted. I meant to add that these units were designed for playing background music at department stores.

Pete,

Check the YouTube vid below for a demo. Ya gotta love the music!

Rick- thanks. I've been checking the 'net for different people and appreciate the lead! There was another dealer selling one that day too, but he wanted more $$ and didn't have the key (which we got with ours). If I had known then what the records sell for, I'd have checked to see how many were in the other one!

Check with Harold before you try and buy records Chuck. He has a lot of connections, so he may be able to save you some $$$.

Hey Chuck and Rich. Ya know I also live close to Rt 287. lol

Hope you can make it next time. It just so happens I did a lot of cooking last weekend and there would have been plenty to eat on a last minutes notice. HInt, Hint!

Take Care,

Ray
