Laundry:
I'm still learning. Tide powder or liquid, original scent 90-some percent of the time.
I'm experimenting with Oxi Clean liquid, occasionally, especially for whites.
We have some Woolite for darks that I've tried a couple of times.
Depending on the batch being washed, I may add one or more of; Clorox liquid bleach, Clorox liquid oxygen bleach, Tide Brights and Whites Rescue pacs, ammonia, (never with chlorine bleach, obviously), Borax.
The rinse cycle gets white vinegar every time, and often a little fabric softener for the scent. Downy or Final Touch. I always wait for the washer to fill some, and add the softener to the tub. I don't put anything but vinegar in the softener dispenser. I've seen too many all gunked up with blue sludge. Yuck.
Dishes:
On the rare occasion that we run the dishwasher, we currently have Cascade with Dawn.
For hand washed dishes, Dawn Ultra. It seems like they changed the scent recently though.
I might try Palmolive one of these days. I used to like their scent, but perhaps that has changed too.
Growing up, my mom always used Ivory Liquid; which someone mentioned earlier.
Do they still make it? And does it still smell as amazing as I seem to remember?
