This is the Hotpoint 9536W timer It went faulty after a month One of the switches inside burned out. My mum heard this bang in the kitchen she went in to investigate. The washer had gone off altogether there was no electric to it. The washing was stock in. Then an hour later my mum figured out how to undo the plug so she change the fuse. Then the washer came back on then I thought problem solved. But when we put it on the same wash programme again when it got to the point where it fused. The washer stopped altogether again so my mum moved the dial one click then it carried on washing. So I thought I`D better phone my washer guy to come and check the washer. So he came and checked the heater. And It was heating fine so he said the only thing I can think of its a faulty timer I haven`t got one. So I went out looking for one in few appliances shops I couldn`t find one anywhere. So we had to carry on moving the dial ourselves for 6 months.
This dryer was 33 years old it had the dial missing so the owner had to use pliers. This dryer was in the owners garage as she replaced it with a new one so I took this one to the tip.
