My new Induction Range arrived and replaced the 25+ year old failing Jenn Air with its 2 speed burners with: "intent to cook" and "Sahara"settings! Its a beauty, black stainless steel. Wow does the oven work! I like the large cooking zone for my big pots. The small burner will hold melted chocolate easy. The oven has a ton of nice features, like keep warm, bread proofing, fermenting, yogurt making, and there is a warming drawer at the bottom! Most of all what attracted me were the knob controls for the burners, I hate those little buttons with numbers you count! Give me a dial, and these dials are like gas cooktops, you push in to turn BUT you can turn them in either direction! Bonus they are marked with cooking speeds- like simmer , low medium , high! Who the hell knows what 3, or 6, or 9 means !! I'm set to hunker down with a Quarantini and cook up a storm these next few weeks.
