No, don't be deceived, this really is about vintage stuff!

I have been working on this for a while now - and with a willing co-conspirator, Phil, we did the return trip from Ogden to Manchester, NH on Saturday for a very special pick-up!

It had been a pretty long day, so we had a late supper in Ogden; Phil left to return to his place and despite the excitement, I did manage to sleep...
But on Sunday, I took advantage of the sunny, warm day to check out the dishwasher!

Look familiar? Yep - it's a 1965 Lady Kenmore like the one that became the 'Roto-Rack with a View' dishwasher that Robert expertly re-engineered AND like the never used 220v model that Kevin(revvinkevin) bought from a storage unit and which John (combo52) has now!

Gasp! Did I neglect to mention this is a 'roto-rack' model?? The condition of the upper rack is just incredible!

The pump and spray area is equally squeaky clean. I had high hopes that this dishwasher was going to be in decent working condition...

Dare I power it up?? I didn't think a dry test would be a good thing, but well, I just couldn't resist!

Yahoo! It works!!

Unfortunately the dishwasher is living in the garage for a spell, so a water test will come later!

Now, back to that washer!
I cannot believe that I FINALLY found a turquoise washer!!

It's really in amazing shape for a 65 model....

I need to fix this lid mount...

A wee bit of rust and wear on this side, though... That's probably where it rubbed against the dryer.

Ok, last post for tonight - the name plate and model number isn't all that clear, but this Lady's numbers are: model 110 6504901100 serial 80471C542

I found a tag on the machine to confirm that this is a 1965 model!

There is a matching dryer to "mate" with the lady... I am going to have to do some legwork for that though!!
