So these two dudes from Quebec pick up these two 'ladies' from New Hampshire...

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Delicious!

Way to go, Paul, those are just beautiful!  The creme de la creme of Sears' tastiest goodness.

I love that dishwasher, right down to the knurled nut for the lower wash arm that they obviously stopped caring about supplying in later iterations :-)

Great finds!!

You look so happy in the pics. Such great codition and the colors are fantastic!
Some great machines comming out of Manchester, NH. My Thor came out of Manchester.

Enjoy them in good health :-)

Swish, flush, swallow--it's so cool!

Thanks, Darren. Hoping Paul will do a dry agitate and manual fill, so we can see the magic. With the blades so low, the splashing should be brief, and then, oh my my, the chaos of currents.

Thank you all!!

This is all very exciting - but also somewhat frustrating because the washer and dishwasher are both down in Ogden and I won't get to play until the weekend!

I can't wait to get some water in both machines, but alas, because they are stored in a unheated building (for now), that's going to be a couple of weeks off.

I did a very brief spin test with the washer - the motor ran, the basket spun, but I thought I heard some unhappy noises (possibly due to belt slippage but I am not certain of that) so I shut it off.    I think this machine may be visiting Beltsville for a once-over... LOL

I must admit that I am going to be focused on how to get the matching turquoise dryer  -  please don't let me forget that I have to pick up a couple of dishwashers still... LOL

Oh and the subject of 'appliance neutral' acquisitions was raised by hubby...  However he did not agree that getting rid of the 2001 MagicNorgeChefTags in the city to be replaced with either the 60s Maytag set OR the 56 Whirlpools was the way to accomplish this...  Fortunately he's lost count of the the dishwashers....

What a find.

The condition is unbelievable, the dishwasher is like new. You have to love the people who take care of their appliances & appreciate what they have.

love your pics

paul! that lady kenmore dishwasher is beautiful! it does look like it had a charmed life! probably won't need a rebuild at all! seals are still plentiful if it does! i buy em on e bay for 2.99 each!

the only thing i have found on my kenmore dishwashers is that the supply tube to the top spray tube gets brittle and cracks with age. this has happened on 2 of my machines and a replacement tube is a ridiculous price of around 60 bucks on "part select.com". hopefully yours is not brittle yet!

it is a very classy looking machine and in avacado, my fav!

the washer is fabulous too, never seen so many buttons! i'm glad you finally got a turquoise washer that you wanted! enjoy them!!! have fun!!!
