Young Daniel Radcliffe, star of the Harry Potter movie series, is set to star in this years UK staging of "Equus". To open this February in London's Gielgund Theatre. Who loves Potter and/or Radcliffe?

I think I saw a story about this in this mornings newspaper. I think that the hullaballo is about Radcliffe appearing on stage, next to a horse, mind you, in the nude.

Obviously, Harry Potter will not last forever so Daniel is trying to shake up his image a bit in the public eye.

I rather like the Harry Potter movies, cleverly done and beautifully filmed. The next one is coming in July!

I've heard about this latest "appearance" of Daniel's on the stage... I'm sure there will be more pics to follow once the play opens - that's what cel phone cameras are for, after all.

Did anyone happen to catch this week's episode of "Extras" on HBO? Daniel was a guest-star and was absolutely hilarious!

I have some faux pics of Harry (or is it Hairy?) - Daniel in compromising positions with some of the co-stars of the Potter series... I won't post them so as not to offend anyone's delicate moral balance.

so as not to offend anyone's delicate moral balance

there is nothing delicate or balanced about my morals, thankyouverymuch!

He will be 18 on July 23.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is slated for July 2007 release.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hasn't begun filming, possibly will be a November 2008 release.

I don''t follow the books, don't know if Half-Blood Price is the last one. There may be one more planned, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

There Is Nothing "Up" With "Harry Potter&quot

More a case of a young male actor branching out to other forms of his craft now that is main former role is coming to a (supposed) end.

The transition from famous child actor to even a known adult "jobbing" actor is a hard one, with the roadside scattered with those who did not make the grade.

Despite the rather prurient interest the play "Equus" is not what some would like to believe.

I saw Equis in high school (it was a major scandal that our community theatre did this play, and minors were supposedly not allowed, but I went anyway) and I read the script in college. I don't remember that much of it, but I do remember that the nudiness is only a small part of it

That theatre wouldn't dream of doing such a "controversial" play these days. They stick strictly to the musical/Neil Simon formula. Too bad.

Heh!

Good one, Ralph!
(I like Jack Radcliffe, too.)

I happen to be a very serious fan of the books.

I have all the books, and have even re-read them.

I'm a supporter of the Order of The Phoenix, not the Ministry.

My house is Ravenclaw. My favourite professors are Minerva McGonagall, and Horace Slughorn(even though he's ethically challenged.)

The movies range from "average" to "good" in my opinion..and just my opinion.

Unfortunately, I am thinking that she's going kill at least one Weasley, possibly either Ron or Ginny, though the Weasley I like the least is Percy.
