Wow, what a nice response to my post! I wish I had more photos to share but alas, the collection is packed up and I am anxiously seeking a new home for them. I may just be able to get a couple of the current kitchen - I won't be shutting that down 'till I find a new house.
In the meantime, the oldest Sunbeam is an 'M4J' from the early 1930's; I don't have any Brauns or Kenwoods - yet!; I do have a couple of green Sunbeams, if Turquoise and Avocado count; the mayo recipe is the one I use all the time too - I just love the recipes out of the old appliance cookbooks!
I am so glad to have made the 'e-quaintance' with you all - I am looking forward to sharing the saga of the restoration of the GE 1959 Princess dishwasher I just acquired too. I was inspired by the story of the 1957 Lady Kenmore rescued from her exile in South Dakota! I am going to be out of town for the next few days, but I vow to return with more pix and hopefully news of finding a new house.
