We have arrived safely in Nebraska, and we're having an awesome time so far...
following are some pics I've taken. We were at Greg's on Wednesday night, and yesterday we took a road trip out to see where I went to college, plus a few junk stores and such.
There's been LOTS of laughter...
So here's a few pics of things, my and my partner's in crime, roaming eastern-central Nebraska
First is Michael, Bobby DeRegis, and Fred Nelson chatting in the lounge before heading to Greg's on Wednesday night

yesterday we made a journey to

Seward Nebraska, about 65 miles west of Omaha along I-80. I went to college out there, at Concordia University. We met up with one of my former professors, toured the campus, and spent some time playing the chapel organ.
Michael and Fred have more pics, I was too wrapped up in getting re-acquainted with this old friend, a III/46 pipe organ, built by Kuhn of Switzerland in 1960.

tracker action with electric stops

a rarity in 1960....due to some mechanical issues this organ is currently not in use by the university, but will be part of a new chapel.

Inside...

looking at the chancel...the organ is a IV/110 Schoenstein from 1997. The facade is a 32' Violone
