Dwight (Captianmoody).   You mentioned thread # 522519 will tell all about the Kenmore pair.... where can I find this thread?  I checked the archives  for 2010, 2011 and the current Imperial forum but am not finding it.

Help?

Thanks!

Kevin

Hey Kevin,

I believe Dwight is referring to the following thread...

Ben

Jeff and James

Thank you for answering my question about the elusive 522519. I got to see the Variflex and the suds hoses. Nice machine.

Now who's the lucky receiver? I also really love the marbled or floral-like fascia, as you all call it.

Gordon, do you have something close in your fleet of Kenmores. When people speak of thinning the herd, I always think of you because you are the only one who really has a herd of machines, i.e, all the same species.

Mickey, you’re welcome

Just having a timer w/ the old Kenmore Permanent Press Cycle of the mid to late 60’s and early 70’s (Agitates and fills @ the same time) would be like a dream come true.

Here’s a link to a video of the cycle. The machine is a 1970 Kenmore 900 belonging to another member (Jons1077). The water pressure seems low. My grandmother’s would fill all the way up and drain again before the timer advanced. Enjoy!

I hear ya, Jeff.

The first time I witnessed this magical cycle, I thought the machine was broken. It's the only tine KM's behave like Frigidaires, filling and agitating at the same time. Wonder why they cut this cycle out, having the agitation after the fill.

Thought the gentle agitation + fill was very effective at coaxing the suds out of the load. Remembering how great the shirts came out in the two years I lived in the house where the LK lived,

Thanks for the memory
