The fridge is tempting. I wouldn't be surprised if scrappers left it behind due to its size, weight, and location.
I'd have to be absolutely certain the fridge was fully functional before easing it down two extra-long flights of stairs. Considering the proliferation of Victorian flats with high ceilings in that area, one flight of stairs in such a building is equal to two in the average home.
I could borrow a truck, but have no one to help me. Plus, it's pouring rain and lots of roadways in the region have flooded areas, so by the time things improve, the fridge could be gone.
Too bad, but it's not worth a back injury.
