Fly The Friendly Skies

Saw this yesterday, I pity the poor ticket agents, what they must put up with on a day to day basis. I was on a flight once and a family (the father actually) held up the flight because they all couldn't be seated together. The kids and his wife looked so embarrassed as they walked down the aisle. Dad was telling everyone their story. I think the kids would have perferred to sit alone.

hahhaha

Christ all god damn mighty ...whats a few thousand gallons of fuel these days anyway, turn that damn plane around and get her.

Can we say "early arrival?"

well I wont say too much, I think I have about the same tizzy when I go to pick up my paycheck!!!

The world revolves around me; F you.

That is the prime example of why the "cure" for hysteria was a hysterectomy.
Snip, snip, rip, and THEN concrete and two stitches for good measure.

Pity the fool that has to wake up next to that for the next 30 or 40 years.

Looks like she's having a nervous breakdown.

Actually, in 1983 I witnessed something not dissimilar at LaGuardia Airport. A very well-dressed, good-loking young lady had also missed her flight. She was pacing forth and back like a wounded animal. Her screaming and cussing could be heard accross almost the entire airport and she kept kicking and bashing the check-in counter. For a young lad, like myself, to see a well-dressed and groomed young lassie behave in this manner was very disturbing and I vividly remember the scene to this day. Of course, then and in true New York style, nobody paid her any attention. In those days one could have done cartwheels in the nude accross Times Square and people wouldn't have batted an eyelid. Come to think of it, that experience may have been pivotal in re-directing my sexual orientation.

Actually nowadays if somebody acted like that, the gate agent would give the person a warning to stop that sort of behavior otherwise airport security will be called. And if they don't stop, they do call security.
Usually security will escort them out of the terminal building with a warning not to re-enter until they can behave themselves.
If they don't stop acting up, either the TSA will take them to the Taliban room or call the local police to have them removed.
I have seen gate agents slapped, pushed, shoved and one was even hit over the head with a stapler one time! He had to go to the hospital to have a few stitches put in.
When somebody goes off the rails this bad, there is no telling what they are capable of doing! A few years ago at EWR a Continental gate agent got his neck broken from an unruly passenger.
