Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Why just for the scientists?

I looked at some of the lab glassware washers and saw this in the specs:

"RS-232 port may be used to transmit data such as temperature, cycle phase, water level alarm, water conductivity and voltage alarm to a user-supplied computer or chart recorder."

Okay, so when is Whirlpool going to get with it?

crawl, then walk, then run

...that would be so kewl.

I am still waiting for American companies to put lights in their dishwashers and add fan-forcd drying (back).

Or for that matter if someone holds a patent for a third ("top-floor") cutlery rack, for it to expire and to have others introduce that feature.

I can't imagine that the holy trinity (WP, GE, frigilux) don't reverse-engineer their competitor's models and get ideas.. (If they don't, I have a third career in mind.... LOL LOL LOL.and you KNOW my tighty-whities would look like the ones in that flea-bay auction from another thread.)

Or for a truly simple one...on the new computerized machines "Second rinse" button not tied to another "perfomance" feature such as heating water.

Personally, I'm liking Frid-lux's "Speeds" on their DWs such that "slow", "regular", and "high-speed" make for extra quiet and quick cycle-time options.

Quote: Blah blah blah ...."SpeedClean™ dishwashers. By incorporating the revolutionary AquaSurge™ technology, the user can now adjust the washing pressure for various dishwashing needs."

Who was saying (in another thread perhaps) that someone sits and thinks up ridculous slogans "service-marks" such as the above for common-as-dirt features. Would a mutli-speed recirculation pump be revolutionary? NOT.

...maybe not too common currently, but still NOT!
