No, they have a suspension system. It is my understanding that the home machine is built the same as the commercial one.

So...would there be a selection in the temp. knob area that allows "Boosted Hot" or is it transparent, and one would need to know the model number?

There would be an additional temperature selection and an indicator lamp with [HEATING] next to it in the status indicators column.
