for the AWN series. Now I know why "warm" is actually "cool".

Mixing Valve Flow Rates (Gallons per Minute)

Hey Yogi

I think I saw you do this before, where is this valve and what size bit did you use to get more hot water?
I have to buy a new washer and may have to do the same thing.
Thanks for your help.

Or...

If you want your warm water to be slightly warmer, switch the hoses and the electrical connection so that cold has the restrictor instead of hot.

I just took both screens out, and tried several drill bits until I found one that matched the COLD side...and then carefully drilled the HOT side....making them both equal...remember to put the screens back in place...I never took the valve out of the machine to do this.....

now I am curious if I could have went a little larger and increased flow volume to fill faster....

Whirlpool washers dont' allow you to switch the hoses Hot/cold.   My Whirlpool Built Maytag has an auto detect that will senses the temp and will choose the correct hose.  Trying to turn off the cold will result in an error code.
