Speed Queen Pricing

I happened to be at my local Speed Queen showroom this morning and noticed the pricing. The price on the 542 model was just over $700. Not sure where the pricing of 900+ came from, I think 700 is quite reasonable for the TL model.

For people looking for one, definitely check with your local appliance retailers. When we shopped ours a few years ago, one of them was $125 less (just on the washer) than the best online price we could find. We picked the set up at the store and even saved the delivery charge/delay/damage.

Pricing in our area is around $850 for the 542 model. Kind of steep... but if you call around there are at least one or two dealers that are more reasonable.
