The belts don't show any signs of wear, which is a little suprising, I expected some wear or at least some belt dust...
Ironic, they are from a Military base less than an hour from me(McGuire Airforce Base), but Caleco is a little over 1 1/2 hour ride one way into Pennsylvania, they have a contract with the military and other Laundries in the Mid-Atlantic region, still worth the trip, You can't beat $25.00 a piece, I am going back soon, a few friends and myself want a few more, I'm going to get a double stack dryer.....Were in the process of changing over to solar power, so I want to be ready with electric dryers and putting the gas ones on the back burner, so to speak....
but anywho, he has a lot of coin operated machines as well, these machines are only in service for the warranty period, 5 years, and then put up for sale, there were over 300 machines to pick from, all the same model, in the back corner was about 20 or so machines to bad to sell, these will be dismantled, many parts are stacked neatly and organized on tall shelves across the warehouse, if a machine in service broke down, they would just take a replacement and exchange it, bring it back to the warehouse for SQ service, or repair it themselves, seems win win for these guys.....
I'm taking a camera for the museum next time, and if allowed, I will take ones of the warehouse also, my mouth was hitting the ground the whole time I was there, pure amazement, like a kid in a candy store....
You do have to call in advance before going, I am going to ask about agitators and caps for some of the guys in case they can't get them on-line
