Be careful with that. Pushing the hose too far down into the drain standpipe can cause siphoning and the machine will never reach the target fill level and stop filling to go into agitation. Or if the fill rate is faster than the siphon rate then it will reach the target fill level but the water level will drop during washing or rinsing and it'll stop to refill, maybe several times.
