I have a problem. I washed some new jeans yesterday in my Speed Queen wringer washer and the dye stained the wringer rolls a blue color. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove this blue dye on the rubber rolls??? I just replaced them a month ago so they are NEW not old rubber. My jeans came out really clean but not the wringer rolls. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have

had good luck with a product called De-Solv-it to remove stains including oil based and blood that is dry. It is a citric based product and works much better than goo gone in my opinion. When I got one of my wringers it had some grease stain on one of the rolls that had been there for a long time. This stuff removed it after setting for a while to soak. I have seen it available at most hardware and drugstore chains here. It comes in a spray bottle so is easy to apply. Other than this stuff I have no clue as to what may remove blue dye. Good Luck.

Same thing happened to me!

In my Maytag. A pair of jeans got stuck going through the wringer and when I got them released there was a blue streak that transferred over to the light roller. I just left it alone and after a few weeks of regular machine usage, it cleared up on it's own.

Thanks

I want to THANK the people who gave me suggestions on how to remove blue stains and other stains from wringer rolls. I have a few dark stains on the bottom wringer roll that has been there ever since I took the paper covering off that the mfg. put on to protect it. I will try the De solvo this weekend. Hopefully if the solvent does not clear up the blue dye stains it will wear off, as the other member says.
