SPEED QUEEN

Here in Honoca'a,we have 4 SPEED QUEEN washers and 4 of their gas dryers. Just last Friday, I replaced the belt on one of the washers and it worked fine with just water but had a difficult time agitating while washing(agitation) but,during the rinse,it worked o.k. I ran another load through and the same thing happened.any clue as to what I may be either overseeing or not seeing at all???Any input on this will be greatly appreciated!!Aloha

Belt tention. My sister has the home model and my bro-in-law replaced the belt, but the maching didn't wash right and spin was very slow. Had to "pull the motor back" to get tighter tention in the belt.

belt is as tight if not tighter than the other 3 machines here.
