Well, blimey, blimey blimey

What a show goes on here when the genius genies are summoned by rubbing the aworg lamp. Wonderful!! Many, Many thanks to you and Leon.

Saturday, on PBS, our dear friends Julia Child and Jacques Pepin were making souffles and Jack was using a sunset colored cheese which he called English Cheddar. And Julia was teasing the Brits about being unusual. She was actually funny, and quite old in the piece, and still alive, of course! ;->

Well I thought of her immediately when studying your magnificent close ups of the controls, (Reply #17): what the heck is "Spin&Heat" all about? Can you boil the rinse water, too? LOL. What if you wanted to spin and boil? I'm afraid your slow American Cousin is quite lost in these unusual options. Happy New Year, Mikey.

The SuperTwin (and yes, it does tell you it's a SuperTwin...) here in the US has both a mechanical, wheel driven wash pump AND an electric spinner pump. The wash pump has a hose with a discharge grommet in the front-left of the wash tub, near the brim and the corresponding hose to fit in it and the spinner pump (electric) has a dial (3rd one) that control is and the spin circuit. None of the US/Canadian models have a heater due to their 110v operation. These are fine machines and I really would love to get one in working order.
