Square credit card reader?

Hi Everyone:
I am getting ready for a fundraiser for a non-profit I volunteer with. We want to be able to accept credit card donations at the event. I am looking at different point-of-sale card readers like Square or PayPal. Per transaction pricing is similar.

Any opinions about either one or suggestions about other readers I am not aware of?

I have

A Square. I use it rarely, have had no problems.
I'm sure someone thats tech smart will come by with more info.
