Thats not the point Bob. He can keep up with her and so what if he has a bit more swish than a Maytag. Honey if he can move like that on a dance floor I can imagine what he is like behind closed doors biting a pillow.....

And To Think

The boy goes to Texas A&M, IIRC. It must be very interesting living in his dorm after this all came out.

One of my cousins this on her cell phone when I was home for Thanksgiving, had the entire kitchen on the FLOOR! My young male cousins and the rest of the men couldn't get "it", and ... well you guess the rest.

To top it off another cousin piped up that one of Beyonce's (sp?)dancers in her video of the song is supposed to be a "man". Well that set off another round of cell phone YouTubing!

All and all we didn't leave that house until near mid-night!

I don't get it?

Is this the dance equivalent of Kareoke(or however the heck it is spelled?)

He can certainly move, but I just don't understand the act.

I'm not trying to be dense, I just don't get it.

Perhaps L/Mb

it could be considered pantomime , or yes, the dance =ivalnt
of kareoke. It certainly takes considerable skill and co-
ordination. If you ask me, (or even if you don't!), I think the guy is ballsy and talented. I bet it is fun for him, and
he doesn't take himself overly seriously about it! (my three $
bill!)

Thank you, Darrel!

You did clarify. Thank you.

I hope that no one takes my previous comment as any sort of criticism, it was merely an "I like it, I just don't understand it."

I watched his interview on The Bonnie Hunt Show and - oh my God - he's just like me! He said, he liked the videos 'cause it has choreography from start to finish. Me too! He thought that when he saw it, he just had to do the dance. Well, me too! Matter of fact, I stumble across his performance, while looking for "Single Ladies" to download it. *scary*

Have to give credit to him for putting it up on YouTube. If the friend of mine, who taped me belly-dancing the beginning of Shakira and Britney Spears on prom night had done the same - I would have killed her...

Perhaps he and I should do a dance-off à la "Who taught himself more choreographies from TV?" ;-p

Fosse - Fosse - Fosse

This Beyonce vid is choreographed on a Bob Fosse routine from the 60's. Check out the linked video comparing them. The small corner view is the original Fosse. There are other vids on YT that set the Beyonce music to the original Fosse video.
