Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Egg on my face!! lol!!

OMG! I am SOOOO blond sometimes! Tps, tpps, pst, tssp... too damn many p's n t's! I guess it was TPS I got at the 98 cent store. But I'm not ENTIRELY blond, Peter, it DID say you could use it in the wash. Maybe that's why it turned my colored t-shirt a different color for a while. LOL!

Ok, my blond roots aside, I'm with Ralph, if you can buy the stuff in the store, why not put it back in the detergent?? Makes no sense.

On dishwasher detergent...so that's why it works well on whites. I use that so soak whites in sometimes. That was a Hints From Heloise, years ago. I forgot how much she said to use, but I buy a big cheap box of Electosol and use about half the box for a med size load. Soak over night, drain machine then wash with regular detergent and pooof! White whites. :)

So I guess after all this, since we have pretty soft water here in Sac, TSSP isn't really necessary.

Thanks everybody. --Laurent

and remember darlings, adding you older faded bluejeans to a load of whites acts as bluing and also whitens your whites,
and evens out the bluejean's tone.

My whites are now dazzling thanks to STPP!

Remember the old commercials showing two women....one used the name brand and the other used brand X. Afterwards, they would each show their pile of laundry and invariably, the
brand X lady's was dingy and the lady who used the name brand
had laundry that sparkled.
