Look at this beautiful 1959 turquoise Frigidaire Imperial dryer (Fabric Master)i just got from the 2nd owner of the machine. Yay, i can't wait to get her in the basement and hooked up.

Does anyone have a spare heat selector knob?

This dryer is perfect except for a missing heat selector knob, does anyone have one i could purchase?

Graham,

I'm sorry that I don't have the matching knob for this dryer, but I'm sure someone else in Applianceville will come through for you.

I like the obvious access door on the bottom. Makes it convenient to change a belt, clean out lint, etc. The problem with some newer ones is you figuring out how to remove the panel. And i have seen more than enough panel clips that were broke or bent or just missing and people had to tape the panel back in place. Ugg.

I love it too.

Thanks for all the nice compliments, i love the dryer too and yes this is the one from ebay.

That is a WONDERFUL Dryer!!

Graham I used to have that exact dryer, it's now in Greg's collection down in Omaha. It was by far one of the best dryers I have ever used. While its not as fast as a Kenmore or Whirlpool dryer, it produced the softest clothes outside of using a condenser dryer, but it was a lot fast than a condenser dryer. I just checked and I don't have that knob, but I do have a '58 Knob that probably will work if you can't find the original '59 knob. Just let me know if you need it.

By the way, the bottom drawer is the filter.
