Straight Vane SQ PolyTuff agitator

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I used the agitator today and was pleasantly surprised at how well it did. It does turn over the load very well and cleans well too. Its barrel is a tad smaller than the other two agitators but it does the job. The base vanes seem to create a strong water action and moves quite a bit of water.

This is the agitator that came in my SQ too!!! And I was so glad it was the "old style" one instead of the other newer one, it has no Softner dispenser but I do use dryer and dryer sheets no no need of it...
Downey ball might solve the "lack" of it...
My SQ has a very strange tub also to see on a SQ, not stainless but dark coated....
I find this kind of agitator being better of the newer.
This the kind they did put in Amanas too....
Congrats!

Did you order this new? Or buy on eBay, etc.? If I could get a new one, I would order it. At least with the current non-flex vane, one can put the fab softener on top, although it looks really "squatty".

I ordered this one new from PWS Laundry online. Its p/n is 33514. Its cost me $12 for the part and another $12 for shipping from Los Angeles to here in Sunny Massachusetts. It took about a week to get to me. The agitator is brand new and the price was right. This agitator might look squat but dont let that fool ya. The water level on Ex Large comes to the top of the vanes in my washer. This agitator is very capable of rolling of a load and washes very well. I need to take a video of this one in action. Also one thing I did notice is that since there are basically 8 vanes in the base of the agitator is that the lint filter on the washer works quite well now. More water is pulled thru it and the loads emerge lint free.
