has anyone ever tried ultra surf detergent lately? the last time i used it was YEARS ago, my mother loved it, i still remember the fresh scent!

Ya know....I forgot all about Surf.
My Mom used that for quite a while because it cleaned so well and had a great fresh odor to it.
I havent seen that stuff around these parts of the woods in years !

you still can buy it, online, or i even saw it at costco the other day.
you can get this at Walmart...in powder form
also seen at Family Dollar, Dollar General, and Big Lots
just not the same as when it first came out, remember all the commercials of home movie types that were sent in and used to show the grungiest clothes come clean and smell fresh
if I am correct its combined with ALL powder, I have to look at it closely again when I go shopping

used cat litter
the last time I bought Surf,I gave it away because it made my laundry smell like used cat litter!!I miss the old Cold Power,Ajax and Fresh Start aromas.

I buy it at Sam's and use it for drop-off at the laundromat. It's slightly different since Sun took over detergents from Lever, but it's still good stuff.

i remember that stuff in liquid though orange bottle and blue cap and, it had like a comic in the back of the bottle. we used to use it back then like mid 90's it was amazing at cleaning whites!

The Surf/all combination
Occured in 2002/03. Unilever combined the Surf liquids into the all line, while the powders remained as Surf. The all/Surf liquids were discontinued close to a year before the 2x launch.
I liked the old all Citrus Burst and all/Surf Bright Sky liquid.
The Surf Bright Sky scent was discontinued and the Spring Burst remains only in powder form.
all powders are rare, with no mention on the website. Here in Denver, King Soopers carries all Free & Clear powder, while Walgreens carries the Stainlifter powder.
